It’s called Under the Tuscan Sun, and as the name indicates, it’s filmed in Italy. The setting is beautiful, and the story great.
As the main character Frances gets divorced from her husband, she has to rediscover herself. When she says yes to a Gay Tour in Italy, she also says yes to restoring the flow in her life.
In Italy, she meets a fascinating woman who predicts that she’ll buy a villa. Frances doubt it, but a few days later she ends up buying the mentioned villa. Now she has to learn Italian, renovate furniture and ask for help several times a day. The adventures in Italy leads her on several exciting journeys, internally and externally.
At the end of the movie, Frances realizes that she now has created the life she dreamed of. The moment she grounds herself into the feelings of peace and joy, unforeseen possibilities present themselves.
The movie is sweet and entertaining.
I’m not crazy about scary movies, but I enjoy a good story. This movie contains several beautiful points.
