In the body lives the inner child. It can be incredibly valuable and beautiful, but for most people the body becomes an upper limit, with pain and imbalances.
The reason is that many of us have encapsulated parts of ourselves early in life. Everything we don’t release and take responsibility for, will end up in the body.
The encapsulated parts are those we consciously or unconsciously are trying to suppress.
Until the awareness expands and we feel like looking at the underlying.
The child is in pain, but the gold that we possess is on the other side of that pain. Once we recognize that, it’s hard not to delve into the mould.
When meeting my clients, I help them release their innermost. Afterwards they can feel themselves and the blossoming begins.
When body work is painful – whether it’s physical touch or movement – it usually means that we are in contact with the encapsulated parts. It is through the sore and vulnerable spots, that you have direct access to your encapsulated nugget.
Breathe and move gently through the pain. If you want to.
I do not believe that we have to walk around with unresolved children inside. They can be felt, respected and picked up. If we do so in a nurturing pace, the little girl or boy will grow up and eventually get the same age as the adult part of us.
As we become familiar with our innermost, body work becomes enjoyable.
Ideally it should be truly pleasurable to feel, move and play with the body.
