You know the feeling. It has gone too far. You are upset, maybe even angry. They have come to close or that haven’t showed up at all. You feel betrayed, and it is beyond your boundary.
You tell them to stop. You yell out NO. You cut them off and you back out.
We tend to call this ‘set a boundary’. But it isn’t. It is saving oneself while hanging in a thin thread and it only happens because we have ignored our intuitive instinct earlier on.
Settings boundaries is a much more loving act that happens on an ongoing basis, where we feel ourselves, stand up for our needs and stay true to our dreams. In a loving way. And we do so every day. We communicate clearly. And we know who we are.
By then we do not end up in those extreme situations where we defend, fight and complain. From my perspective this has actually very little to do with boundaries. But it is a message telling us, that we would highly benefit from being more subtle in-tuned with our emotions, thereby boundaries on a daily basis. It doesn’t have to be that wild.
Less drama when we are staying true to our dharma.
Are you clear on your path? Are you staying true to yourself, your heart and dreams on a daily basis? And of course, let it be in a loving and nurturing way.
