Do you need a break?

Do you need a break? - Is a question I have asked my self many times during my life. And often the answer was a clear yes. Sometimes I was tired after a busy period of work. At other times I longed for space to integrate new wisdom.

Even though I was able to hear my inner guidance system, screaming a clear yes to the question, I would often continue without any break. I felt as though, taking a break was waste of time. And as I was always on my way towards the next future post, I knew that many tasks was waiting. I felt overwhelmed just by the thought of a break, and therefore convinced my self that I had to continue without.

For years I was trapped in this spinning wheel of stress and responsibilities.

And no, it wasn’t always fun. But what I’ve learned from it was so valuable. It helped me realize that when we take too much action, we get in the way of our own success and happiness. We block the flow of energy, and therefore end up struggling to manifest and manage our lives – our desires included.

Today I simply can’t live without taking breaks. It is so clear for me, that nurturing ourselves is what makes us capable of realizing our greatness. And by realizing our greatness (often called soul), we naturally step into the higher vibration of allowing. In the state of allowing our heartfelt wishes can come true.

I receive the most profound ideas and inspiration when I’m in the midst of a break, as I gain tremendous clarity by deeply relaxation. And because of that I’m now consciously aware of taking breaks. I’ll often have a massage or beauty treatment. At other times I’ll go for a walk in the nature or read an inspiring books. On a daily level I do my yoga practice.

Whatever nurture us, helps us realize our greatness and from that place, we can easily manifest and manage our life.

We tend to act without breaks, when we wanna control the circumstances that surronds us. But as none of us are capable of truly controlling others, we can’t succeed with it. And what happens when we’re trying to control is that we loose our energy. It happens on a cellular level, so often you’ll feel the tiredness in your physical body.

If I find my self tired, stuck or drained, I’ll immediately stop what I’m doing. I’ll take a break, turn my focus inwards and release whatever I’m holding on to. As soon as I do that, I step into the natural state of allowing and once again I’ll able to receive energy.

By listening to our bodies we’ll know exactly where we’re at. And I find my self and my work at the best, when I’m consciously tuned in to my body and energy level.
