Last week, I met up with the participants of our first BodyMaster Training class. Most of the women had flown in from Denmark to New York in order to be part of Module 10 and the following certification party.
For a few hours on Thursday, we breathed and danced! As the women gathered, there was a vibe of heartfelt honesty and safety in the room. Some of them took some very courageous steps while they danced. I was impressed, shocked and tremendously proud.
Friday was the final day of our 11 month-long journey. We spent the entire day together so that I could run through some last minute details and answer various questions.
We talked about Mastership, and how important it is to both master the skills and then be willing to take leadership for it. As these two elements merge, I call it mastership.
As we ended the class, the participants wanted to hear about my future plans and dreams. That inspired me to tell them about my journey through life and what I now now working on and passionate about. There were tears of recognition in the room as I opened up to my innermost feelings and realizations.
That evening, we met at ABC Kitchen – one of my favorite restaurants in New York. While we talked, we ate delicious food and enjoyed beautiful cocktails!
I also received some lovely presents from the class – even my little dog got a present! She has been an inspiration and healer for both myself and the class.
Eventually, I handed the women their the certificates and gave them some honest and loving words to send them off on their individual journey. We cried, laughed and hugged a lot. It was the most intense and heartfelt experience I’ve had in long time.
I have learned and grown so much from launching the BodyMaster Training.
