My husband was confused. He couldn’t find the key to the closet where most of our values were. He searched, asked if I have seen it and searched a bit more. It wasn’t to find anywhere and we ended up leaving the house, not knowing where the key was.
He talked about it several times during the day. I felt the urge to help, but as I had no idea where the key was, I thought to myself that the best way I could help was by searching with my intuitive radar. I usually work with people and animals, so localizing a key was quite an experiment for me. I had never done so before.
I allowed myself to calm down and deeply surrender, as I know this to be the most effective way when I intend for my intuition to speak very clearly. Shortly hereafter the guidance arrived, and I now knew that he hasn’t lost it. I was also told that the key was in our house, in the living room on a table.
And then I hit a block. This was simply to much. My mind began chattering: “Yeah, it is on a table, but which table? Calvin has been looking everywhere. And Phoebe how can you possibly do something like this, you have never done it before. Do you really thing you are that great?”
OK, I was off track. I knew it, and it had to get back. Breathing and relaxing. Breathing and relaxing.
More guidance arrived; it is in the living, near the kitchen and on a table. Then mind chattering began once again. I smiled, decided to stop and go to bed. There was a block I needed to look at.
On my way to the bedroom I told Calvin what I had learned. Straight away he went to the living room. Searched, searched and then yelled: “Phoebe you are crazy. It is here. It has fallen down from the small cupboard so it is on the floor, but yeah it was on the table.”
We laughed, and once again I was reminded about the importance of clearing out blocks in order to fully utilize and benefit from our intuitive skills. Our intuition possess such a great power but destructive patterns or limiting beliefs can really cut us off. As you probably see, one of my destructive patterns is to play small. So when I am expanding beyond my own limitations, as I did here, I’ll often block myself with mind-chatter and doubt. Are you aware of your blocks? And do you know how to work around them?
It is my believe, that most of us we have to look at these blocks, and then relearn how we use our intuition as a power-tool for clarity in our own life. Very often we have a tendency to pick up others stuff and thereby blocking the intuitive flow in our own life, but I guess that’s a subject for another blogpost.
